PoolSitter operates an SMS messaging program (the "Program") to communicate with customers and prospective customers in the Dallas, TX area. By opting in, you may receive text messages from PoolSitter including:

  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates
  • Service completion notifications and technician status updates
  • Chemical and equipment alerts specific to your pool
  • Promotional offers, seasonal tips, and company news
  • Responses to your inbound text inquiries

2. How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from PoolSitter by:

  • Checking the SMS consent box on our contact or consultation request form
  • Texting START to our number at
  • Verbally or in writing expressing consent to receive SMS messages during service sign-up

By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided, and that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service schedule and your preferences. Typical customers receive approximately 1 to 4 messages per month. Active service weeks (weekly visit confirmations) may result in more frequent messages during your service period.

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by your mobile carrier as part of your wireless plan. PoolSitter does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier's standard rates apply. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

5. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of the SMS Program at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any text message you receive from us
  • Emailing hello@gopoolsitter.com with your opt-out request

After you reply STOP, you will receive one final text confirming your opt-out. You will not receive further marketing messages, though we may still send you transactional messages directly related to an active service appointment unless you request otherwise.

Our SMS program is supported by major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, and others. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers. Contact us if you experience delivery issues.

Your mobile phone number and any information collected through this SMS program are governed by our Privacy Policy. We will not share, sell, or rent your mobile number to any third party for their own marketing purposes. Your number is used solely to communicate with you about PoolSitter services.

9. TCPA Compliance

PoolSitter complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable federal and state regulations governing commercial text messaging. We obtain prior express written consent before sending marketing SMS messages and honor all opt-out requests promptly.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS to enrolled subscribers or posted on this page. Continued participation in the program after changes constitutes acceptance.
